  18. I've got an M-TEC controller on my A500, and its working quite happily!

  20. My system has a Conner 540MB hard drive and 4 megs of ram.

  22. The specs of the controller are as follows :-

  24. Space for a 3.5" drive mechanism
  25. 4 30 pin SIMM slots for 1, 2, 4, or 8 megabytes of RAM expansion
  26. Space for a replacement Kickstart chip
  27. Fully autoconfig, no drivers needed for Kickstart 2+

  29. BTW, there is a 2.5" port as well, but I'm not sure if *two* devices can be
  30. connected to this controller at once....

  32. I bought mine from Power Computing in the UK.  Not sure who else distributes
  33. this controller.....

  35. The only problem I had with this device was that it would not boot when I used
  36. it with my Supra RAM board.  It didn't like the Supra's thru-port.
